This Shrimp Scampi with Pasta is a classic Italian-American dish featuring juicy shrimp sautéed in garlic, butter, white wine, and lemon, then tossed with al dente pasta. It's quick, bright, and bursting with flavor—perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasion.

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook 1 minute. Add white wine, lemon juice, and zest. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  4. Return shrimp to the pan. Add pasta and a splash of pasta water. Toss to coat. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  5. Garnish with extra lemon, parsley, and Parmesan if desired.
