This Garlic Shrimp Linguine is a quick and elegant pasta dish that’s packed with flavor. Juicy shrimp, sautéed garlic, olive oil, and a splash of lemon come together with al dente linguine for a light, zesty dinner that feels fancy but comes together in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, and a splash of reserved pasta water. Stir to create a light sauce.
  4. Add drained linguine and shrimp to the skillet. Toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Top with fresh parsley and optional Parmesan. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side.
