This gluten-free tiramisu is a creamy, coffee-flavored Italian dessert layered with gluten-free ladyfingers, mascarpone cream, and a dusting of cocoa powder. Just as indulgent as the classic version, but safe for those avoiding gluten.

  1. Step 1 – Prepare the coffee mixture:
  2. Brew strong espresso or coffee and let it cool. Stir in the coffee liqueur (optional). Set aside.
  3. Step 2 – Make the mascarpone cream:
  4. 2. In a mixing bowl, whisk egg yolks with sugar until thick and pale.
  5. 3. Gently fold in mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  6. 4. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into the mascarpone mixture.

  8. 5. Quickly dip each gluten-free ladyfinger into the coffee (do not soak or they’ll fall apart).
  9. 6. Arrange a single layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of a 9x9-inch dish.

  11. 8. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining cream.
