Vietnamese iced coffee is a bold and sweet beverage made with strong dark roast coffee and sweetened condensed milk, served over ice. It’s perfect for warm days and delivers a satisfying caffeine kick with a creamy twist.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Add condensed milk
  2. Spoon the sweetened condensed milk into a glass (clear glass is traditional so you can see the layers).
  3. Assemble your phin filter
  4. Place 2 tablespoons of coffee into the phin. Gently press the gravity insert down.
  5. Start brewing
  6. Place the filter on top of the glass. Pour a bit of hot water in first to bloom the coffee. After 30 seconds, pour the rest of the hot water in.
  7. Wait for it to drip
  8. Let the coffee slowly drip through the filter. It takes about 4–5 minutes.
  9. Stir and pour over ice
  10. Once dripping is complete, stir the coffee and condensed milk together. Pour over a glass full of ice and enjoy immediately.
