This creamy vanilla ice cream is inspired by Pampered Chef’s recipes and tools. You can make it in the Pampered Chef Ice Cream Maker or any similar machine. It’s perfect for customizing with add-ins like chocolate chips, fruit, or cookie crumbles.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine the Base:
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Chill the Mixture:
  4. Place the mixture in the fridge for 30 minutes (cold mix churns better).
  5. Churn:
  6. Pour into the Pampered Chef Ice Cream Maker (or any ice cream machine).
  7. Churn for 20–30 minutes, or until thick and creamy.
  8. Add Mix-Ins (Optional):
  9. In the last 5 minutes of churning, gently add chocolate chips, cookie pieces, or fruit.
  10. Freeze or Serve:
  11. For soft-serve texture, serve immediately.
  12. For firmer ice cream, transfer to a container and freeze for 2–3 hours.
