This green tea is light, refreshing, and full of antioxidants. When brewed correctly, it has a smooth, slightly grassy taste without bitterness.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat water: Bring water to a near-boil (about 80–85°C or 175–185°F). Avoid boiling — too hot water makes green tea bitter.
  2. Steep tea: Place green tea leaves or a tea bag into your cup. Pour hot water over it.
  3. Steep time: Let it steep for 2–3 minutes (no more than 3 to avoid bitterness).
  4. Remove tea: Strain out leaves or remove the tea bag.
  5. Flavor (optional): Add honey or a lemon slice if desired.
  6. Serve: Enjoy hot, or let it cool and serve over ice for iced green tea.
