Discover the simplest way to make poached eggs in the air fryer—no boiling, no babysitting! These eggs are gently cooked in greased ramekins with hot water for a classic poached texture, perfect for breakfast, salads, or toast.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350–360°F (175–182°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Lightly spray each ramekin with oil or rub with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons hot water to each ramekin.
  4. Carefully crack one egg into each ramekin, keeping yolk intact.
  5. Place ramekins into air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 5–6 minutes for a runny yolk; 7–8 minutes for a firmer center. Adjust time for desired doneness.
  7. Use oven mitts to remove ramekins (they will be hot).
  8. With a spoon, gently release the egg from the edge and transfer to plate or toast.
  9. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
