Enjoy healthier apple fritters made in the air fryer—crispy outside, tender inside, with a warm cinnamon-spiced flavor. These quick fritters are topped with a sweet glaze for a delicious snack or dessert with less oil and mess than traditional frying.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes. Line or spray the basket with parchment or cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and apple pie spice.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients; stir gently just until combined. Fold in diced apples.
  5. Drop ¼ cup portions of batter into the basket, spacing out fritters for airflow.
  6. Cook for 8 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  7. Transfer fritters to a wire rack. Repeat with remaining batter.
  8. For glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth.
  9. Drizzle glaze over warm fritters. Serve immediately.
