This Pecan Pie Dump Cake takes all the gooey, nutty goodness of classic pecan pie and turns it into an ultra-easy, crowd-pleasing dessert. Just layer the ingredients, bake, and enjoy a buttery, crunchy-topped treat—no pie crust or mixing bowls required!

  1. Preheat Oven
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. Layer the Filling
  4. Spread the pecan pie filling (or homemade mix of condensed milk + pecans + vanilla) evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  5. Add Dry Cake Mix
  6. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the filling. Do not mix.
  7. Top with Pecans & Butter
  8. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the cake mix. Drizzle melted butter evenly across the entire surface to moisten the mix.
  9. Bake
  10. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling at the edges.
  11. Cool & Serve
  12. Let cool for 10–15 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
