  1. Preheat Oven:
  2. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  3. Prep the Ribs:
  4. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs (if not already done). Pat dry with paper towels.
  5. Apply the Dry Rub:
  6. In a small bowl, mix together:
  7. 2 tbsp brown sugar
  8. 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  9. 1 tsp garlic powder
  10. 1 tsp onion powder
  11. 1 tsp ground black pepper
  12. 1 tsp salt
  13. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  14. Rub generously over all sides of the ribs.
  15. Wrap and Bake:
  16. Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
  17. Add BBQ Sauce & Broil (Optional):
  18. Uncover ribs, brush with your favorite BBQ sauce, and broil on high for 5–8 minutes until caramelized.
  19. Rest & Serve:
  20. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
