A comforting one-pan pasta recipe made with juicy bratwurst, tender pasta, and a creamy garlic sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy dinners.

  1. Cook Pasta:
  2. Cook pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the Brats:
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced or crumbled bratwurst and cook until browned and cooked through, about 7–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  5. Sauté Vegetables:
  6. In the same pan, add onion and garlic. Sauté until soft and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
  7. Make the Sauce:
  8. Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Then add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until slightly thickened (5 minutes).
  9. Combine Everything:
  10. Add the cooked pasta and bratwurst back into the skillet. Toss to coat. Stir in spinach if using, and cook just until wilted. Mix in Parmesan cheese.
  11. Serve:
  12. Garnish with parsley and more Parmesan if desired. Serve hot!
