This Cinna Bun Cake tastes just like your favorite cinnamon rolls but without the effort of rolling dough. Swirled with brown sugar and cinnamon, then topped with a sweet glaze, it’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert — and ready in under an hour!

  1. Preheat Oven
  2. Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. Make Cake Batter
  4. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder. Stir in milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter until smooth. Pour into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Make Cinnamon Swirl
  6. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and softened butter until well blended. Drop spoonfuls over the cake batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Bake
  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Glaze
  10. While cake is warm, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle glaze evenly over the cake.
  11. Cool & Serve
  12. Let the glaze set for 10–15 minutes, then slice and enjoy warm!
