This Chicken Cordon Bleu Meatloaf puts a delicious spin on the classic French dish. Juicy ground chicken is stuffed with layers of ham and Swiss cheese, then baked to golden perfection. It has all the comforting flavors of chicken cordon bleu—without the fuss of rolling and frying!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined—don’t overwork it.
  3. Press half the meat mixture into the bottom of the loaf pan. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard. Layer ham and Swiss cheese over it. Top with remaining meat and smooth out the top.
  4. Brush melted butter over the top. Sprinkle with Parmesan if desired. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a light salad.
