Voodoo Pasta is a bold and spicy Cajun-inspired dish loaded with juicy blackened chicken, colorful peppers, and a rich, creamy sauce. It’s a restaurant-style comfort meal you can easily make at home.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook penne according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Season & Cook the Chicken:
  4. Coat chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and let rest, then slice into strips.
  5. Sauté the Veggies:
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook for 4–5 minutes until softened.
  7. Make the Sauce:
  8. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan cheese, stir until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  9. Combine Everything:
  10. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss well to coat in the sauce.
  11. Serve:
  12. Serve hot, topped with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan.
